DOCU-REALITY

CINEMATOGRAPHY

Wild Justice was one of my favorite shows to work on.  It challenged me to use all of my skills and forced me to think on my feet.  This production perhaps more than any other required constant awareness of my surroundings.

Here is a sample of an illegal marijuana garden raid I filmed alongside California’s Fish and Game and MET Department.

Adaptability is the name of the game in docu-reality. This shoot required night vision camera operating, weatherproofing, and filming in the luggage hold of a private jet. Quite the challenge!
This high intensity “Paranormal” series follows the true stories of paranormal activity throughout history.  The shooting environment was fast pace and challenging due to low light situations, confined spaces, and the unpredictable nature of the subject.
My role as field crew camera operator on Spike TV’s Coal was to capture the essence and transformation of Welch, West Virginia and the coal mining community as a whole as it struggles to survive in the 21st century.
Commissioned by the Travel Channel, I had the opportunity to film up and down the West Coast capturing many of this country’s most breathtaking sites including Olympic Peninsula’s Hoh Rainforest and Yosemite’s Half Dome. A journey of a lifetime, not to be forgotten.
